2025-2026 Elections
The GSA Election season for four Executive Officer positions typically begins during at the end of Winter quarter and ends during Spring quarter.
Referendum proposed by the student body are also voted on during the elections. Any change to student fees must be done by a majority of at least 10% of enrolled graduate students.

The Graduate Students Association (GSA) plays an important role in the promotion of graduate students' interests on this campus and within the University of California. Thank you for your interest in running for a position or proposing a referendum. The applications for the year 2025-2026 are now closed.

Good Clothes Good People Referendum
Alongside the Elections for the GSA Office positions, graduate & professional students get to vote on the proposed fee to give them access to Good Clothes Good People. Read the proposed referendum below:
“Shall the Graduate Students Association Council (GSA) institute a new fee of $0.33 per graduate/professional student per quarter (0.495 per semester) beginning in Fall 2025 to fund all items, services, and expenses relating to the operations of the Good Clothes Good People Basic Needs Redistribution Center? This fee would be collected from all graduate and professional students enrolled in Fall, Winter, and Spring. The fee will be increased annually thereafter by the amount of the L.A. County CPI, if any, beginning in Fall 2026. 25% of the amount collected will be returned to graduate financial aid”
